It’s no secret that we at Moab Cliffs & Canyons love the outdoors. The only thing we love more than exploring the incredible and beautiful Moab desert landscape is organizing guided outdoor adventure tours so that as many people as possible can experience and appreciate this unique environment.

Over the years, we have seen a continuous increase in the number of visitors coming to Moab Utah. Who can blame them? With national and state parks and an abundance of recreational activities for all ages, Moab is the perfect adventure destination.

However, more visitors to the parks means that parking eventually becomes limited. Some popular trailheads like Delicate Arch in Arches National Park often fill up early and for hours at a time, especially during peak times like weekends and holidays. Additionally, if you’re driving a vehicle with a trailer or a recreational vehicle (RV), you might find it hard to locate a parking spot that fits your rig.

This coupled with the hassle of trying to get to attractions while lugging around luggage and other equipment can make the logistics of your adventure trip a nightmare. This is where shuttling services come in handy.

Shuttling To Your Adventures in Moab, Utah

While we at Moab Cliffs & Canyons do provide transportation for our clients form our office to the adventure routes and back again, there are other shuttle services in Moab which provide a much wider range of transportation services.

Some of these Moab shuttle services provide pick-ups and drop-offs to major airports like the Moab Canyonlands Field Airport, Grand Junction or Salt Lake City International. Others provide transfers between popular biking and hiking trailheads or river shuttles between put-in and take-out locations.

Shuttle services offer a high quality, cost-effective means of transportation in and around Moab area and they can accommodate small or large groups plus whatever luggage and equipment you might have e.g. motorbikes, bicycles etc.

When looking up shuttle services, you have the option of planning a sightseeing trip to specific attractions e.g. inside one of Moab’s famous parks. This alleviates the stress of driving yourself and eliminates the hassle of searching for a parking. You just have to sit back and take in the breathtaking views as your professional driver takes you through the park pointing out notable attractions as well as showing you interesting viewpoints for the best scenery and photo ops.

Alternatively, your shuttle service can take you to a hiking trailhead of your choice, drop you off to enjoy your adventure then pick you up at the other end, that is if you opt not to loop back around.

Most of our clients often ask us whether we provide or can recommend reputable shuttling services around Moab and we’re always happy to help. If you have any other inquiries about this or our guided outdoor adventures, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

Additionally, we will provide knowledgeable and experienced guides to truly enhance your adventure. Our professional guides will take you through the hiking trails with the best scenery as they entertain you with stories of the area’s local and cultural histories, ecology and geology while answering any questions you have. What does the Portaledge Adventure entail?

A portaledge is simply a hanging cot that enables rock climbers to sit or sleep on cliff faces during a climb. It’s basically like a rigid hammock with an aluminum frame for support that climbers set up on the side or ledge of a cliff.

Much as our clients are wowed by the prospect of spending a night suspended high on a cliff wall, there’s always some hesitance at first.
