We offer a variety of Climbing Courses so you can confidently learn the deeper aspects of this awesome sport. Each day(s) of the courses will be taught in one or more of the best climbing crags to develop your skills. Instructors will encourage you to master essential rope skills to form a solid foundation or further expand your knowledge and climbing expertise. All of the courses are able to be 1 or more days, depending on your schedule.

Gym-To-Crag
This course is intended for gym climbers trying to break into outdoor climbing, however, intermediate climbers will also benefit from refining and reviewing these skills as well as benefit from the additional movement principles and skills practice. Transitioning from climbing in the gym environment to the outdoors requires learning new skills and techniques. Our course provides the opportunity to develop these skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. Topics covered include: outdoor-specific movements, anchors, cleaning, rappelling, and leading!
How to Multipitch Climb
Our multipitch course is designed for climbers who want to progress beyond single-pitch routes and learn the skills necessary to tackle longer, more committing climbs. We will cover essential techniques such as: building and managing belay stations, different lead styles, rope management, route finding, and efficient communication between partners. Multipitch climbing opens the door to endless climbing venues across this country for you to explore!
Intro To Trad Climbing
Different than spending a day learning to hand jam, this course is designed to take gym or sport climbers and teach them how to succesfully and smartly trad climb. Spent at various crags around Moab, we will cover: gear placement, leading on gear, traditional anchors, route finding, walk-offs, and movement skills.
How to Crack Climb
This intensive course will review the foundational skills through the intermediate level and progress to include the extensive skills required to be a competent crack climber. The demanding nature of Indian Creek routes forces climbers to refine their technique and mental toughness, ultimately making them more well-rounded and confident crack climbers when climbing in other venues and rock types. Topics covered can include: jamming different sizes, gear placement and bumping, tape gloves varieties, and efficient movement.

If you’re a climber and you’ve ever looked up at the imposing runnels and muddy overhangs of the Titan or the steep and improbable seams and sweeps of smooth granite on El Cap, you’ve probably asked yourself—How the heck does anyone climb that stuff? The answer—aid climbing! Join us to learn the art of Clean Aid—from french-freeing to trusting cams smaller than nuts, right here in Moab. This course will start with the basics of leading and following using efficient techniques and work towards climbing multi-pitch walls and towers right here in our beautiful desert backyard.
