Since that first visit, she’s rearranged her life to spend more time exploring the hidden treasures and perfect splitter cracks of the desert. She found her true calling as a climbing and canyoneering guide, sharing her passion for adventure and wild beauty with visitors since 2016.  A person in search of perpetual change, Michelle has lived all over the US, pursued varied careers from auto mechanics to neutrino physics research to teaching, and is constantly seeking new books to read. A climber since 2002, her one constant is the desire to be outside. Moab Adventure Tour Guide – Adam Fleming

Rock Climbing & Canyoneering Guide Adam first starting climbing in the mountains of North Carolina.  The steep quartzite cliffs and granite domes provided a spectacular classroom to learn movement and rope skills.  While obtaining a psychology degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Adam worked in the Outdoor Education program, leading children and adults through team-building activities and ropes courses.  After college, Adam fully invested himself in climbing.  He has explored world-class destinations like Joshua Tree NP, Rocky Mountain NP, Red Rocks, and the desert southwest.  He joined Moab Cliffs and Canyons in 2017 and is pursuing a Rock Guide certification. Rock Climbing & Canyoneering Guide David Katzenmeyer started rock climbing in 2o13 in a climbing gym in Harker Heights, TX and he fell in love with both the community and the problem solving aspect of climbing. He found that he was able to not only challenge himself but also keep himself fit and surround himself with like minded people. David then left Texas so that he could climb El Capitan in Yosemite and 6 months later he did so. David used to be a mechanic and decided to make his passion for climbing a job and started guiding. He loves seeing people face their fears and push past their mental limitations.
